Thrift Store
The Sister Carmen Thrift Store makes it possible for everyone in our community to shop with dignity. We offer gently used clothing, household goods, and furniture at very affordable prices—so families can find what they need without financial stress. When you shop or donate, you support a program that provides free vouchers to neighbors facing hardship and a social enterprise that helps fund our Food Bank, and other essential programs and services. Every purchase and donation directly strengthens the community.

Donation Guidelines
We gladly accept clean, quality items that still have life left in them—clothing, household items, décor, small furniture, and more. All donations are reviewed by staff to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. While we cannot offer residential pick-ups, donors are welcome to drop off items during donation hours. Your thoughtful donations help us keep prices low for the community and support families who rely on free shopping vouchers.
We are unable to accept items that are dirty, stained, disassembled, are considered unsellable or we do not have room for. We reserve the right to refuse any donation that we cannot sell. Staff will determine if we can accept your donation in person. We are unable to confirm acceptance of items via phone or email.Â

How Your
Donations Help
Your donations make a meaningful difference for local families. Every item sold helps keep the store affordable, provides free shopping vouchers to neighbors facing financial hardship, and generates important funding for the Food Bank, rental assistance, advocacy, and community education programs. A single donated coat, set of dishes, or small piece of furniture can become both a useful item for a neighbor and direct support for the services that help families stay stable and supported.
