Campaign Highlights
We are serving more families than ever! Over 1,700-can you believe it? Our expanded Food Bank is operating without a hitch. Our Food Bank Garden is underway – vegetables are growing! We have shifted into the Family Resource Center model are and engaging even more with families who have targeted economic stability as their goal. Our Thrift Store is under renovation and will be doubling in size this year. We have started providing free yoga classes. Four partner agencies now have offices in our new building. SCCC has become like a small nonprofit campus for families in need.
Raising the Bar
We are pleased to announce that we have reached our 2.5 million dollar capital campaign goal!! We are amazed by the generosity of our community in this endeavor. We continue to be amazed by each and every one of you!
Because of an unexpected drainage issue we needed to mitigate at the new facility, and a couple of other additional unexpected expenses, we have discovered that SCCC will need to raise an additional $500,000 for our expansion. Our new target goal for the Support│Give│Grow Capital Campaign is 3 million dollars.
What’s Our Plan?
